Good morning, Aggieland. Everyone loves waffles, and B/CS may be getting a fan-favorite waffle place soon. Bryan mayor Bobby Gutierrez confirmed a Waffle House is “in the works". Grab the syrup—Aggieland might finally be getting its 24-hour waffle fix.

2025 Inaugural Bryan Tx Songwriter Festival

The inaugural Bryan TX Songwriter Festival will take place on October 24-25, 2025, in Historic Downtown Bryan. This two-day music event will feature performances from over 20 singer-songwriters including Scotty Alexander, The Band of Heathens, Kaitlin Butts, Kolby Cooper, and Roger Creager. Performances will be hosted at five iconic downtown locations including The Stafford, The Palace, Hush & Whisper, and the LaSalle Hotel. The festival aims to promote the art of songwriting and will offer both free-to-the-public performances and exclusive VIP wristband options.

The Fightin’ Texas Aggie Corn Maze
🌽 The Fightin’ Texas Aggies are getting lost in the corn again! From Oct. 24 to Nov. 2, Aggie Agronomy is hosting a 3-acre corn maze and fall festival at 2650 F and B Rd. Bring the whole crew for pumpkins, games, and autumn fun fit for all ages. 🎃 Perfect for families, students, and anyone who loves the smell of hay and a good maze challenge.

Trunk or Treat so Kids Can Eat
🎃 Get your costumes and canned goods ready for the 8th Annual Trunk or Treat So Kids Can Eat event on Saturday, November 1st from 10am-1pm at Bryan High School! For just five canned goods per person, you'll enjoy a day filled with trunk-or-treating, inflatables, train rides, face painting, a photo booth, arts and crafts, and more. Hosted by the City of Bryan's Parks and Recreation Department and Bryan High School Theatre, this spook-tacular event benefits the Brazos Valley Food Bank while providing fun for the whole family. Don't forget to wear your Halloween costume and join the community for this meaningful celebration that combines giving back with holiday fun!
