First Friday at Downtown Bryan

🎭 Historic Downtown Bryan transforms into one giant stage on the First Friday of each month, where streets buzz with live music, artistic performances, and interactive demonstrations from 5-10pm. Visitors can wander through unique shops and beloved restaurants that keep their doors open late specifically for this monthly celebration. The vibrant atmosphere creates the perfect evening outing, combining culture, community, and entertainment in one place. First Friday has established itself as the can't-miss monthly event in Aggieland, drawing crowds to experience the creative heart of Historic Downtown Bryan.

Holiday Magic at Sue Haswell Memorial Park

🎅 Celebrate the magic of the season at Sue Haswell Memorial Park's 27th annual Holiday Magic event this Thursday from 5:30-8:30pm. Families can enjoy completely free activities including photos with Santa, snow hills, train rides, face painting, and a special screening of The Polar Express, while Bryan ISD choirs provide festive performances throughout the evening. Free parking is available at Blinn College lots with shuttle service to the event, making it easy for everyone to experience this beloved Bryan holiday tradition.

Anthem A Capella

🎵 The Anthem A Capella group is preparing to hit all the right notes with their Pre-Acatex showcase tonight (Thursday) at 7pm at College Station High School. They'll be joined by Purple Reign A Capella for an evening of harmonic performances as both groups warm up their vocal cords for the upcoming Acatex event.

Ballet Brazos’ The Nutcracker

🩰 Ballet Brazos presents their 14th annual production of The Nutcracker on December 5-6, 2025, featuring live music by the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra and guest dancers from the New York City Ballet. This beloved holiday tradition invites audiences to journey to the Land of the Sweets with performances at Rudder Auditorium, complemented by festive pre-show activities including Photos with Clara, a Red Carpet Photo Area, live holiday music, and a Nutcracker Market. Tickets can be found at the TAMU box-office site.

Winter Wonderland at Travis Fields

🎅 Travis Fields is hosting its fourth annual Winter Wonderland on Saturday, December 6th from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, presented by the George H.W. Bush Library and Museum. Families can enjoy free holiday fun including Santa visits, games, a petting zoo, toy drive, vendor market, and a character autograph hunt where kids can collect signatures for a special prize.

  • 🏀 Women’s Basketball: Texas A&M defeated Georgia Tech 72-63 behind dominant performances from Ny’Ceara Pryor, Lauren Ware, and Fatmata Janneh, who all recorded double-doubles.
